Meet Dr. Man

Daniel Man, M.D., is a board-certified Florida plastic surgeon in private practice in Boca Raton, South Florida. A noted author, artist, inventor and educator, Dr. Man has devoted his life’s work to helping people look younger and improve their appearance through cosmetic surgery. He is the author of a guidebook to cosmetic surgery called “The New Art of Man: Faces of Plastic Surgery” which combines his love of plastic surgery and art.

Noted for his work in skin rejuvenation, cosmetic laser surgery, liposuction, facelifts, he is a frequent guest lecturer at medical conventions, receiving invitations from medical societies throughout the U.S., Europe, South Africa and even as far away as Istanbul.

He was named one of South Florida’s “TOP DOCS” in a report by South Florida Magazine, and voted “BEST COSMETIC SURGEON” by Monday Thursday Newspapers. He is probably best known for his development of an improved technique in facelift surgery using the “MAN FACELIFT EXPANDER”, that removes more wrinkles and skin during the facelift, while giving a more “natural-looking” appearance. He also holds a patent for an implantable homing device to help locate missing children, foreign diplomats and Alzheimer’s patients.

His contributions to cosmetic surgery and other procedures have been published worldwide in textbooks and in numerous medical journals including “American Medical Association News, “Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery”, the Journal of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, and the International Quarterly, “Facial Plastic Surgery”.

In addition, he is a popular media personality having appeared on Good Morning America, ABC Evening News With Peter Jennings, American’s Health Network “Ask The Doctor” , CNN, Vogue, Allure, Newsweek, Omni Magazine, and South Florida Magazine, among others.

An artist and plastic surgeon, he believes art plays an important role in plastic surgery. He regularly contributes his art to help raise funds for abused women and children. Dr. Man also donated a painting to the White House in recognition of President Clinton’s efforts to promote peace in the Middle East.

In addition to his private practice, Dr. Man serves on staff of Boca Raton Community Hospital, West Boca Medical Center and Delray Community Hospital. He is board-certified in plastic and reconstructive surgery and certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
